What we keep when you visit or send a message, and why. In short: only what we need to reply to you.
Who we are
Sitesational is run by Stelios Michailidis, a sole trader based in Ayios Athanasios, Limassol, Cyprus. He decides how your details are used. Write to hello@sitesational.com or call +357 99 776210 about anything on this page.
What we collect
- When you send the form: your name, your business, your email or phone, your message, and the rough town and country your connection comes from.
- When you write, call or WhatsApp us: whatever you send us there.
- When you visit: we count visits without cookies. Your connection is turned into a code that changes every day, so we cannot tell who you are. The raw internet address is never stored.
- Only if you agree on the cookie bar: how you move around our pages, and whether you came from one of our adverts. See Cookies.
- A free check from Cloudflare (Turnstile) makes sure the form is sent by a person, not a robot.
Why
Only to answer your message and, if you ask us to, to prepare a sample or a quote (steps you asked for before a possible contract). The visit counts tell us which pages are useful. We never sell your details, and we do not send newsletters.
Who handles it for us
- Cloudflare: runs this website, the visit counts and the robot check.
- Resend: delivers the form to our inbox as an email.
- Google (Gmail): our inbox.
- Microsoft (Clarity): page recordings and heatmaps, only with your OK.
- Meta (Facebook, Instagram): measuring our adverts, only with your OK.
Some of these companies are in the United States. They protect EU data under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contract clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted, unless you become a client. Client records are kept as long as the law requires for accounts. Visit counts are kept for about 13 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it. Just email hello@sitesational.com. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Cyprus Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (dataprotection.gov.cy).
